DCYM’s main objective is to promote children, young people and women empowerment, enlightenment, education, health and motivation towards becoming national leaders imbued with the qualities of hard work, honesty, integrity, respect for rule of law and patriotism.
At DCYM, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn and grow. We work tirelessly to provide access to quality education for underserved communities, and breaking the cycle of poverty.
Empowering communities is our vision at DCYM, and doing this involves educating and giving our communities the necessary training. In order for our vision to manifest, our communities have a vital role to play in the work we do. We need them to work with us. That is why DCYM recognized the need to educate our communities in different areas so they are better able to play their role.
In addressing one of our objectives at DCYM, the organization anchored its activities on realizing the SDG 4 goals that focuses on quality education. The organization will use knowledge and innovative approaches like CMS (CheckMySchool) as a research tool.

For the first point of call for wider coverage, DCYM collaborated with the office of the State Ministry of Education (SMoE), State Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB), Local Government Area, and Community stakeholders to acheive our goals.
