Dream Centre for Young Minds (DCYM)
We empower children, young people and women towards becoming national leaders.We are a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO), who seeks to empower children, young people and women towards becoming national builders.
DCYM directly benefits children and their families. Through public-private partnership, we carry out intervention programs for vulnerable and at-risk communities on education, healthcare and livelihood in remote villages and slums across Nigeria.
DCYM believes that unless members of the civil society are involved proactively in the process of development, sustainable change will not happen. Following this model of Civic Driven Change, DCYM sensitizes and engages the civil society, making it an active partner in all its welfare initiatives.
DCYM is working with children especially the girl-child, young people, vulnerable groups, and disadvantaged communities across the six geo-political zones through effective collaboration at the Federal, States, Local Governments, and community levels.
Our Strategic Objectives
Community Relationship
To encourage and foster cordial relationship between parents and community stakeholders with the school authority/management, as the only wheel to better teaching and learning.
Awareness Campaign
To create the awareness for participatory developments through sweat-equity and the need to monitor and imbibing maintenance culture to all projects in the community.
Child Education
To enlighten parents and community stakeholders on the need to educate their children.
Research Methodology
To inspire and empower children, young people and women using proven methods for enhanced productivity.
